History
Cricket Hunt School, est. by Michele Bois-Gilbody in 2001, is a place where children learn to become independent and self-motivating. We offer the excitement of discovery within the boundaries of a safe and challenging learning environment. From the start, we aligned our curriculum goals for Pre-K-Grade 2 with NAEYC (National Assoc. for the Edu. of Young Children) guidelines creating a learner centered focus meaning that we take time to look at each child's individual strengths and needs. Gradually, we found that there is a great need for quality infant, toddler and preschool care, and expanded our developmentally-based programs to meet the needs of these ages as well. In celebration of our 12th Anniversary in 2013, we re-established a Transitional Nursery 1 program for infants ages six weeks to 18 mos. with professionally certified, nurturing teachers. We now proudly offer programs for ages 6 weeks to Grade 2 with activities such as French, music, art, and environmental education
