Skowhegan Area High School
Skowhegan Area High School is a public coeducational school that serves more than 900 students in grades nine through 12 and offers a wide variety of educational programs. Its academic curriculum includes mathematics, English, science, foreign languages, social studies, applied and fine arts, business, and physical and health education. The high school offers various athletic activities, including basketball, ice hockey, swimming, wrestling, softball, cross country, golf, football, bowling, baseball, tennis, track, gymnastics, cheerleading and skiing. It provides a variety of extracurricular activities and student organizations, such as acting, student council, math team, drama, speech, outing, band, rotary and art clubs, the National Honor Society and school newspaper. The high school is located in Skowhegan, Maine, and is operated by the Maine School Administrative District 54.
