Formerly known as Sample's Shipyard, Boothbay Harbor Shipyard specializes in the design and construction of wooden vessels and offers a complete range of marine-related repairs and service for all vessel types. The company has been operational since 1869, offering a broad range of services, such as fiberglass repair, welding, pipefitting, metal fabrication, shop and design services among others. Boothbay Harbor Shipyard has completed a variety of projects that includes Tall Ship Bounty, Schooner Ernestina, Gazela of Philadelphia, Lucinda Smith and Sloane Catboat.
