Biddeford Primary School offers educational and extracurricular programs to students in grades kindergarten through two. The school has been divided into four academic villages. These smaller communities have a schedule of their own and offer students a personal, small-school experience. The curriculum is child-centered and in addition to the core curriculum, students have access to special education and support services. Biddeford Primary School also has a student assistance team made up of teachers, the assistant principal and support personnel. The team brainstorms and implements interventions for students experiencing difficulties in school. The student's progress is monitored, and occasionally the team refers a student to a pupil evaluation team for further evaluation if the interventions do not produce sufficient progress. The school is located in Biddeford, Maine.
