Freeport Players founded Freeport FebFest in 2015 in partnership with other artists, cultural organizations and presenters. In its first year, with support from the Davis Family Foundation, FebFest offered dozens of events at venues around town, getting people out of the house to be entertained by musicians, actors, writers, singers, painters and more. From that solid start, FebFest will keep growing to involve more people in more varied activity every year.SpecialtiesFreeport FebFest is a one-of-a-kind festival that turns the spotlight on arts & cultural activity in Freeport for the entire month of February. All types of art are represented, with performances, recitals, classes, gatherings and more offered by artists, cultural organizations and other presenters.
