Tchefuncte Middle School is an educational institution that is governed by the St. Tammany Parish Public School System, which operates various elementary, middle and high schools. The school serves more than 800 students in grades four through six. It provides English as a Second Language, accelerated reader and speech therapy programs. The school also conducts Drug Abuse Resistance Education classes. Tchefuncte Middle School operates a student government and ecology, chess and yearbook clubs.
