History
Louis Sahuc opened Photo Works in August of 1995 and began showing an on-going body of work that preserves the architecture and uniqueness of life in New Orleans' French Quarter. These photographs are timeless, visual vignettes that evoke feelings of what it is like to live in this special place as it is now, was in the past, and will be in the future. Already some of these views no longer exist.
Specialties
Louis' work gives us just enough visual information to make our mind react and declare: this is the true New Orleans. With tight composition, selective focus, and a strong sense of design, along with rich natural lighting and deep shadows, the viewer is drawn to that which attracted Louis to photography in the first place
