Located in central Louisiana lies a portion of land with much historical relevance. Originally known as Hidden Hill, today it is called Little Eva Plantation. Hidden Hill was the real-life inspiration for Harriet Beecher Stowe's classic anti-slavery novel Uncle Tom's Cabin and it is the birthplace of the famous American folk artist Clementine Hunter. In October 1987, our family under the corporate name of Natchitoches Pecans purchased 465 acres of Little Eva Plantation. Since then we began our journey of growing fancy Louisiana pecans for our many customers. There is an on- site gift store where visitors can "taste history" as well as orchard fresh pecans and pecan treats. Our gift shop is the best kept secret in Louisiana!
