Mr.Ronnie Picou ,our founder,went into the Donut business in 1976 as a franchisee of the Tastee Donut chain based out of New orleans. He sold his unit in 1984 ,after being dissappointed in the direction the company was headed in,due to the use of cheaper and unnacceptable ingrediants.
