KOK Wings & Things was started in the fall semester of 2016 by 4 University of Lafayette college students that set out to bring Lafayette what it missing high quality fried chicken . The company grew in popularity from catering events & hosting events at the house it started from. The following spring semester of 2017 the 4 college students choose to take KOK even further by re-investing all the money they had in the company and moving into a food truck and travel around Louisiana to spread the companies brand and quality product to everyone near & far. For the reminder of the spring & half of the summer the food truck had grown the popularity of the companies brand 10 fold. That summer time of 2017 the 4 were looking for a place to park the food truck for the reminder of the summer and fall semester & came across a closed restaurant directly across the street from their beloved alma mater UL. With only the goal of parking there they were afforded a opportunity to open the resturant.
Specialties
KOK Wings & Things specializes in great food. We started as a chicken wings & fries restaurant & have expanded to a menu of fish, shrimp , crawfish, cheesecake & much more. There is no item on our menu we have not put our time & effort in to ensure it is the best in Acadiana. We have created a social environment like no other in the area that can bring various demographics together to not just enjoy the best food a Acadiana had to offer but also each other's company & time.
