Founded in 1973, Kenilworth Middle School is an academic institute that offers a range of learning operations and extracurricular programs. The school has an enrolment of more than 600 students in grades six through eight. It manages a staff of over 220 professionals. Kenilworth Middle School provides special education and English as a Second Language programs for students with special needs. The school conducts math, science, social studies and English classes. It also offers instruction in physical education and industrial arts. The school provides guidance counseling, food and nursing care services. Kenilworth Middle School has partnerships with St. John United Methodist Church and the Kenilworth Civic Association. The school is a part of the East Baton Rouge Parish School System, which governs several preschool, elementary school, middle school and high schools.
