Junior Achievement's mission is to inspire and prepare young people to own their economic success. We are a volunteer driven, student focused organization that serves kindergarten through 12th grade students by helping them connect their classroom learning to their real lives. JA curriculum supports educators and parents by providing classroom mentors to help students to understand their future in the workforce, to think like an entrepreneur, to build personal finance skills, and see the value of staying in school on future economic opportunities. JA volunteers are mentors from the workforce who have created professional and personal success and share these real world experiences and pathways with students. JA programs are age-sequential, interactive and give students opportunities to build soft skills such as decision making, critical thinking, teamwork and interpersonal communication.
