In 1996, June's Dancers opened its doors following the lead and location of June Montgomery School of Dance, founded in 1959. Together, the two institutions are a Lafayette tradition, teaching excellence in character and dance for over 60 years. Dancers from age 3 through adult learn the art of dance in classes held Monday through Thursday. Junes Dancers attends numerous conventions, performs at Acadian Village in support of LARC, and hosts year-end performances at the Heymann Performing Arts Center on the first Tuesday in June of each year. June Jefcoat is proud to continue the excellence of one of Lafayette's oldest and proudest dance traditions. We hope to see you soon.
