Midway Elementary Professional Development School, located in Shreveport, La., is a public institution that offers educational and extracurricular programs to students in grades kindergarten through five. The school has a student strength of more than 300 and in addition to the regular programs, it offers Buddy Reading, a bi-monthly program that pairs upper grade students and lower grade students to improve reading skills and abilities.
