SpecialtiesThe New Orleans School of Burlesque was started in 2008 with a simple one time workshop in a small studio on the Westbank of New Orleans. It has grown into New Orleans' only offering of weekly burlesque classes that focus on all the aspects of burlesque from character development, costuming, history, and so much more. The school is lead by the Headmistress, Bella Blue, who has a lifetime of dance experience and has been performing burlesque since 2007. In addition to Bella's instruction, there are regularly scheduled workshops, local instructors, and guest teachers from all over the country.
