Within the last three decades, the Copeland s of New Orleans chain of casual full-service restaurants expanded from metropolitan New Orleans into more than 40 stores, both company-owned and franchise operations, in 15 states across the United States. The restaurant serves appetizers such as cheese toast and popcorn-sized fried shrimp and crawfish tails. Other menu items include burgers, po-boys, gumbo, soup, seafood and salad. Copeland s also serves specialty daiquiris, margaritas and hurricanes. The company operates restaurants in cities such as Harvey, La. Al Copeland founded Copeland's of New Orleans in 1983. Copeland also founded Copeland s Cheesecake Bistro and is the owner of Diversified Food & Seasonings.
