CASA of Central Louisiana is a non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for abused and neglected children in the Natchitoches, Red River, and Sabine Parishes of Louisiana. Through trained community volunteers, CASA ensures that every child involved in Child In Need of Care cases receives competent and effective advocacy to meet their best interests.
With a mission to reduce reentries into the child welfare system and increase the likelihood of achieving permanency, CASA volunteers serve as the eyes and ears of the court, providing independent recommendations for children in foster care. In 2021, CASA of Central Louisiana served 3,490 children with the support of 1,610 dedicated volunteers, making a significant impact in the lives of children affected by abuse and neglect.
