The primary product produced by Temple-Inland s corrugated packaging division is containerboard, which is the largest segment of the United States paper market. Containerboard is made using softwood fiber and is used to create corrugated packaging. The company s 2 million acres of forestland provide the majority of its fiber requirements. Formerly known as Inland Paperboard & Packaging, Temple-Inland s corrugated packaging business includes five containerboard mills, one corrugating medium mill and more than 70 converting operations.
