History
In 1997, Alford Inspection Inc. was founded as a small inspection company. Later renamed Alford Services Inc. (ASI) in 2000, ASI began to concentrate on safety related services, personnel and equipment. Soon thereafter, Alford Safety Services Inc. (ASSI) was born. The lack of adequate safety training in the area led ASSI to develop its first safety training facility. A continued dedication to safety has enabled ASSI to become the largest safety training provider in the Gulf South. The Alford family continued expansion incorporating Alford Safety and Compliance, LLC (ASC) in 2006. This new addition provides both regulatory and medical compliance services. The Alford group was acquired in 2008 by Falck, the world's largest international assistance, emergency, healthcare and training provider.
