Founded in 1939, Bowling Green Technical College is a public, two-year degree granting institution. The college offers more than 25 degree, diploma and certificate programs. It provides courses in collision repair, industrial maintenance, radiography, sonography, and engineering and information technology. Bowling Green Technical College maintains a library that offers a range of educational resources and materials. The college supports the National Technical Honor Society. It operates the Franklin-Simpson Center, which provides business and industry training programs for students in northern Tennessee. The college maintains more than five locations and serves students in south-central Kentucky. Bowling Green Technical College is accredited by the Council on Occupational Education. It is member of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System.
