Founded by John Baxter in 1974, J.B. has a long history with the meat business, which includes working for Kroger and several other independent markets. In February 2007, J.B. sold the company to Randy and Kathleen Guilfoyle, who are committed to maintaining the standards of excellence set by the company's founder while further building upon the success of the business by expanding into a greater portion of the retail and catering sector.
