Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources is responsible for overseeing all hunting, fishing, and boating activities in the region. It also issues various wildlife permits, including commercial nuisance wildlife control operator, raptor propagation and falconry, scientific and educational collecting, shooting preserves and dog training area, transportation and holding of exotic and native wildlife, and wildlife rehabilitation permits.
