122 acre horse boarding farm featuring the Bayless House, built circa 1877. The great standardbred sire, Jay Bird, stood stud at Maplehurst in 1905 and 1906 and passed away in his paddock on December 18th, 1906 at 28 years of age. Jay Bird's influence and legacy in the world of standardbred racing is as strong today as it was over 100 years ago with top performers year after year trace back to Jay Bird. As the saying goes, "It is always a Jay Bird."
