Galerie is a worldwide distributor of gifts with candy, including licensed brands such as Barbie, M&M's and Snoopy. The company has become the fourth-largest supplier of chocolate to Target, Wal-Mart and Nieman Marcus stores, behind candy giants Hershey Foods Corp., M&M/Mars and Nestl . It s quite profitable for Galerie, paying off with more than $60 million in annual sales and an average growth of 50 percent each year. That's why the company consolidated two Galerie candy company operations into a 277,000-square-foot corporate headquarters at Paul Hemmer Cos.' Airpark West development in Hebron, Ky. The headquarters houses corporate executives, creative departments, accounting, showrooms, samples and packaging, as well as assembly, distribution and shipping. The space is important since Galerie, formerly Galerie Au Chocolat, develops more than 1,000 new products from scratch each year.
