Bridgehaven provides community-based psychiatric rehabilitation and recovery services for adults with severe and persistent mental illness. It provides group therapies and skill building activities, including independent living skills, goal setting, communication skills, illness management, self-determination, using community resources, advocacy training, and recovery awareness. The organization also provides stress management, relationship skills, integrated recovery from co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse, health and fitness and pet therapy. Programs offered by Bridgehaven, bridge to recovery and opportunity house, provide individual and group skill-building activities designed to improve the ability to interact and function in the community. It has partnerships with Wellspring, Kentucky Mental Health Coalition, National Alliance for Research on Schizophrenia and Depression, National Mental Health Association, and Seven Counties.
