Isaac Bernheim established Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest in 1929 in Clermont, Ky. Spread on more than 14,000-acres, the nationally recognized arboretum is located amidst gardens, lakes, a nature center and large expanses of natural area. The park also offers more than 30-miles of hiking trails, over 12,000-acres of research forest, bike trails and a visitors center. Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest offers a variety of programs that include young naturalists, kids nature exploration, school field trips, I.W. and Jon Burnham art project, training for naturalists and training for certified interpretive guides.
