Christian Care Communities, formerly known as formerly, The Christian Church Homes of Kentucky, is one of the oldest benevolent care ministries of the Christian Church. Founded in 1884, it administers more than 50 programs and serves over 3,000 individuals annually. The ministry maintains a network of retirement communities, including independent living apartments, patio homes, and assisted living and skilled nursing care facilities. Christian Care Communities is also one of the largest, nonprofit providers of housing and long-term care services for senior citizens in Kentucky. It administers the Christian Care s Stepping Stones program for individuals with brain injuries. The ministry offers physical therapy and rehabilitative services. It maintains locations in Louisville, Lexington, Hopkinsville, Corbin, Owensboro, Taylorsville and Grayson, Kentucky.
