History
Dr. James R. Grace opened his first clinic on Crittenden Drive. Dr. Bob (as he is known to his clients), later built a modest clinic on Spring street and Preston Hwy. When the watterson expressway was expanded, Dr. Bob built the Audubon Animal Medical Center on 1311 Durrett Lane. He added deluxe boarding suites and an airy atrium, so boarding pets could be relaxed and entertained. This also gave him a place to enjoy his second passion, which was growing tropical plants. Dr. Bob has retired but his son, Dr. Jim Grace has continued our tradition of excellent pet care and support and education for our cherished clients. We have two locations conveniently located, Audubon and the Cherokee Animal Clinic at 1601 Eastern Parkway. Dr. Grace is joined by Associates, Dr. Donna Habig and Dr. Kimberly Edens. The core of our well trained staff have been with the hospitals for over ten years and are very knowledgable. We are known for our compassion for our patients and their owners.
