Abdullahi O. Oseni, M.D., is a cardiologist with Norton Heart & Vascular Institute. He earned his medical degree from the University of Ilorin Faculty of Health Sciences in Nigeria. Dr. Oseni completed his residency in internal medicine at Meharry Medical College, Nashville, Tennessee. He completed fellowships in cardiovascular research at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, Winston-Salem, North Carolina; cardiovascular disease at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, Iowa City; and interventional cardiology at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, Oklahoma City. Dr. Oseni specializes in interventional cardiology with a focus on high-risk revascularization and mechanical circulatory support, as well as peripheral and structural heart interventions. He is board certified in internal medicine and general cardiology. He believes in practicing “precision medicine” to tailor care for each individual. Academically, Dr. Oseni is well published and enjoys mentoring upcoming physicians. Originally from Auchi, Nigeria, he moved to the United States in 2009 to further his medical education. In his free time, Dr. Oseni enjoys traveling, cooking and playing soccer.
