The William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications is located in Lawrence, Kan. The school emphasizes the basics of information gathering, useful analysis, clear writing, critical editing and creative presentation. It offers education on various topics, including advertising, corporate communications, integrated marketing communications, news writing and editing, management and sales in traditional, emerging and converged media. The school has an enrollment of more than 700 undergraduate and more than 60 graduate students. The school is approved by the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications.
