History
Tall Oaks Conference Center is a ministry of the Greater Kansas City Region Disciples of Christ and is an ACA accredited camp. Tall Oaks has grown providing summer camp for the Disciples of Christ Region to being a retreat, conference facility, camp, or outdoor classroom to over 300 different groups throughout the year. Groups that visit us include: -Camps for young people with special needs -School Groups for field trips or overnight educational trips -Family Reunions -Various Religious and Spiritual Groups -Personal Retreats -Community Banquets
Specialties
Tall Oaks is an ACA accredited camp and can accommodate up to 175 overnight guests in our cabins and main lodge. We offer full meal service in our Dining Hall as well as various programming in the following areas: -High and Low Challenge Course set in the woods and/or Indoor Team Building activities facilitated by our trained staff -Equestrian Programming -Outdoor Classroom / School Field Trips -Archery (seasonal) -Pool Usage with certified life guards (seasonal) -Hay rides -Camp Fires and S'mores
