Seward County Community College is an educational institution that offers a range of degree and certificate programs in credit and noncredit courses. It is accredited by the Kansas State Board of Regents, the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission and the Kansas State Board of Nursing. The college offers academic programs in behavioral science, accounts, agriculture, chemistry, business, criminal justice, sports medicine and visual arts. It organizes various athletic events that include baseball, basketball, softball, tennis, volleyball and cheerleading. The college offers a range of student services, such as financial assistance, student housing, personal and career counseling, academic advisement and assessment and career services. Established in 1967, Seward County Community College has an annual enrollment of more than 2,100 students and is located in Liberal, Kan.
