Founded in 1848, Phi Delta Theta is a fraternity with more than 150 chapters in over 40 U.S. states, as well as Canada. The fraternity has a membership of approximately 200,000 and focuses on developing academic, leadership, athletic and professional skill of members. It promotes academic excellence through various programs, conferences and resources, as well as offers academic scholarships and fellowships through the Phi Delta Theta Educational Foundation. Phi Delta Theta provides opportunities for members to assume leadership roles through various offices, committees and programs. It promotes leadership, teamwork and dedication for college students through opportunities such as The Accolade Member Development Program. Additionally, the fraternity in partnership with the ALS Foundation offers philanthropic services in the community. Headquartered in Oxford, Ohio, Phi Delta Theta maintains a chapter in Wichita, Kan.
