The Heartland Learning Center offers an early childhood education program. It provides a variety of educational services for the academic, social and personal development of children. The center provides a federally funded program, Head Start, which serves eligible children of ages 3 and 4 years. The program is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The Heartland Learning Center offers a range of educational audiology services, such as hearing screenings, audiological evaluations, consultations and assessment of classroom listening environments. In addition, it offers the JumpStart program that serves 5-year-olds at risk for academic challenges. The center conducts early childhood screening for children with developmental disabilities. Located in Olathe, Kan., The Heartland Learning Center is a part of the Olathe School District.
