Operational since 1900, Youthville Family Consultation Service is a nonprofit behavioral health center that offers mental health services. It provides outpatient services that include a range of individual, family, couple and group therapies for children and adults. The center also specializes in treating depression, anxiety and behavioral disorders. Youthville Family Consultation Service offers psychological testing, eye movement desensitization and processing and medication management programs. The center additionally provides mental health assessment and intervention services for students. Its early intervention programs support at-risk youths who are the victims of delinquency, family conflicts, poor school performance, substance abuse and violence. Youthville Family Consultation Service offers suicide prevention programs. It is a part of Youthville, which is one of the largest, nonprofit child welfare agencies in Kansas and provides foster care, adoption, psychiatric residential treatment and counseling services. The center is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and is affiliated with the Child Welfare League of America, Children's Alliance of Kansas, Foster Family-Based Treatment Association and National Foster Parent Association.
