Butler County Sheriff's Office is a full-service law enforcement agency that provides crime prevention and education programs. It serves the residents of Butler County in Kansas. The agency is comprised of more than five divisions, including patrol, investigations, warrants and civil, training/grants, crime prevention, court security and detention. It offers traffic enforcement, motor vehicle accident reporting, crime investigation, training and emergency medical services. The agency additionally handles matters related to domestic violence and civil disputes. It offers services to municipal agencies, court houses and adult detention facilities. The agency employs over 110 full-time certified deputies, civilians and detention facility personnel. Butler County Sheriff's Office is a part of Butler County, which also operates fire, economic development and public works departments.
