In 1981 Bob Foster, frustrated at the lack of support for family caregivers, started a support group in his garage for those caring for a loved one with dementia.This grassroots group grew, and eventually joined with the national Alzheimer's Association office in Chicago.Several Years, a few names, and a couple of moves later, we are now the Alzheimer's Association of Central and Western Kansas
