The credit union was founded in 1935 as the Oscar Mayer Credit Union and was originally located inside of the Rockingham Road plant. How the credit union progresses:Grover Miller was the manager from 1950's to 1970's. The Rockingham plant office had 600' of space, and only offered Savings, Loans, and Christmas ClubThe Kirby Kangaroo Club was developed. It is an existing club for kids up to age 12. Eventually it was marketed by Iowa Credit Union League and is now run by New Mexico Credit Union League1977, the current Rockingham office was built at 1400 Rockingham Road which enabled us to serve the OM employee family members Philosophy of Credit Unions Below are organizations that The Family Credit Union staff has either fund raised for or volunteered for an event.
