Northwestern College enrolls more than 1,200 students annually from over 25 U.S. states and nearly 30 countries. The college focuses on Christian liberal arts education and offers graduate degree courses in the fields of accounting, biology, business administration, chemistry, computer science, English, humanities and history. In addition, it provides preprofessional programs in art therapy, dentistry, law and veterinary medicine. Northwestern College is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and offers various sports activities, including baseball, basketball, football, golf, soccer, wrestling, softball, tennis, volleyball, and track and field. The college provides extracurricular activities that include choir, band and drama. It operates newspaper, yearbook and Spanish clubs, as well as a student activities council. The college is comprised of various institutions, such as Rowenhorst Student Center and Korver Visual Arts Center.
