The Standard Family Assisted Living Center is part of the charitable Christian service organization, Western Home Communities. The goal is to create fulfilling lifestyles for Cedar Falls seniors. This facility provides assistance to residents who need a little help with everyday functions, but who overall desire to stay independent. Meals are offered in the dining room with escort service if needed, or tray service is provided. The units are private, keyed areas where residents are able to decorate they wish. Licensed nurses are on staff 24/7 and provide regular health assessments. Certified nursing assistants and medical assistants are part of the large 24-hour staffing as well. Each resitent unit is equipped with a call light for emergencies. Judy Staff is available by phone during regular office hours for any inquiries on resident relations or admission.
