Life Line Emergency Vehicles was incorporated in 1985 and currently manufactures Type I and Type III modular ambulances in both the straight-side and slant-side styles. Many of these styles are custom built to the purchaser's individual specifications and offer a variety of body lengths and interior headroom heights. Life Line designs are based upon numerous proprietary aluminum extrusions developed by its engineers and available only through the company itself. The ambulances are tested and certified for compliance with Federal KKK-A-1822 specifications by Certified Inspection Service of Buford, Ga. The company is one of the original 12 ambulance manufacturers in the United States tested and found qualified for membership in the Quality Vehicle Modifier program by the Ford Motor Company. Life Line is also an active member of the Ambulance Manufacturer Division of the National Truck Equipment Association. The company has dealers in more than 40 states throughout the U.S.
