Established in 1894 and located in Anamosa, Iowa, Jones Regional Medical Center is a 25-bed facility. It offers a wide range of services, such as ambulance, adult day care, cardiac rehabilitation, child care, counseling, diabetes education, home health care, laboratory, rehabilitation and public health services. Its auxiliary comprises more than 200 men and women and supports the hospital by providing funds for optical chairs and for the renovation of the specialty clinics. It also operates a scholarship program for health care fields. Jones Regional Medical Center has a volunteer group that performs various activities, such as visiting patients and assisting with their meals and mail deliveries. The group also helps the center with special events, such as health fairs, blood drives and fundraisers. The hospital has more than 80 physicians and health professionals on its medical staff and is a subsidiary of St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
