Iowa ACEs 360 is a collaborative organization in Des Moines, IA that works with leaders, organizations, and community members to address Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and create conditions for healing and well-being. They advocate for policies that support families, apply trauma-informed approaches, and foster system changes informed by those impacted by trauma.
Through their efforts, Iowa ACEs 360 has trained 30,000 Iowans annually on ACEs and trauma-informed responses, and 11 sectors are working together to respond to trauma by integrating research, strategies, and advocacy. Their movement began in 2012 when a group of stakeholders learned about The ACE Study, and since then, they have been identifying and seizing opportunities to address ACEs in Iowa.
