History

Genesis Studio Spa opened November of 2013 on the top floor of a beautiful historic building, located on the shore of the Cedar River in downtown Waterloo, IA. In 2019, GGS moved to its current location with the beautiful, relaxing nature room for services. Many aestheticians are part of a spa with other busy salon services. GSS is the one of the few exclusive skin care studio spas with services by a single licensed aesthetician who is also an ethnobotanist, so you'll be serviced by someone who is knowledgeable in plant and people sciences for accurate information, not marketing hype.
