HistoryThe Children's Therapy Center of the Quad Cities was founded in 1949 by a group of concerned citizens who realized that there were very limited services for children with disabilities in the local community. The name of the organization was originally The Crippled Children's Foundation of Rock Island County. When we became affiliated with the National Easter Seals the names change to the Easter Seal Foundation to reflect the partnership. In September of 2002, the Easter Seal Foundation discontinued its affiliation with National Easter Seals, Inc. The volunteer Board of Directors voted to maintain its local autonomy and to become the Children's Therapy Center of the Quad Cities, NFP. For over 60 years, the Children's Therapy Center of the Quad Cities has been providing physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and related services to persons with disabilities in the Illinois and Iowa Quad Cities and surrounding communities.SpecialtiesThe Children's Therapy Center (CTCQC) provides therapy services to children with developmental disabilities and developmental delays in order to help them achieve their highest level of independence regardless of ability to pay. We offer occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, & feeding therapy.
