The First Baptist Church of Marion is led by Pastor Randy Bobzien and is a very active congregation. The church opens the 29th Street Mission every Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 11am offering food, clothing, books, children's toys and more to those in need. The church's Senior High group has many activities planned throughout the year to keep them busy, close and enjoying the Baptist life. The church also offers American Baptist Women's Ministries and the Ministry to Boys, among other ministries. Services offer music from traditional hymns to Christian rock featuring its own Praise Band on Sunday. Visitors are always welcome to join the congregation for Sunday services.
