Located on Hudson Road in the southwest part of Cedar Falls, the center placed on a spacious, scenic spot. It holds maps and brouchures from all around the town and Waterloo as well. They have packets you can pick up, or they'll mail them to potential visitors or guests. The packets include the Visitors Guide for Cedar Falls and Waterloo with maps, attractions, dining and lodging, etc. It includes brochures on local events, information on the "Main Street District," the water park, casino, and guides to the area trails and recreation.
When you arrive, you'll be greeted by one of the bureau's volunteers, like Judith Harrington or Dwight Hill, who will assist you and answer any of your questions. Inside is a gift shop, vending area, public meeting room, and there's also an event area for rentals. Outside is a sitting area with a scenic view that is great on a nice day.
Sometimes people live in the same town for their entire lives and still aren't aware of all it has to offer. Drop by the Cedar Falls Tourism & Visitors Bureau to find out if you're missing anything.
