History
In 1936, Helen Unger began making English Toffee in her Home Economics class at J. Sterling Morton High School in Cicero, Illinois. She shared her toffee with family and friends during the holiday season. People began placing orders for this fantastic candy, and she was in business. Even through the war years when supplies were hard to get, the commitment to quality ingredients did not stop. In 1982, Helen's daughter Joan and her husband Dave Pszonka took over the family toffee-making tradition. With the whole family taking part in the making of this outstanding confection, the business flourished. Today this delectable treat is shipped to satisfied customers all over the world, truly making it the World's Finest Homemade English Toffee.
