US Airways baggage is a department of US Airways, headquartered in Tempe, Ariz., and owned by the US Airways Group. The baggage department has a wide range of policies, such as free baggage allowance, excess baggage charges, delayed luggage, damaged luggage, baggage embargo, lost personal articles, musical instruments and baggage status inquiry. The airline operates the US Airways Shuttle that provides hourly services in the Northeast. Its regional airline service, US Airways Express is operated by contract and subsidiary airline companies. US Airways, US Airways Shuttle and the US Airways Express operate more than 4,000 flights in the United States. Canada, Europe, the Caribbean and Latin America. US Airways began operations in 1939 as All American Aviation. US Airways offers a variety of products and services to meet the needs of business and individual travelers.
