Founded in 1925, Christopher Center for Library and Information Resources consists of a main library and bookmobile. Its library card is the key to a network of various libraries and a bookmobile that offers books, periodicals, CDs and DVDs, as well as computer and Internet resources. The library subscribes to electronic databases that contain information in a variety of areas from newspapers and magazines, stock quotes and medical information. Christopher Center for Library and Information Resources offers adventure activities for children and teenagers through storytimes, special programs and reading incentives. In addition, it offers a range of services and programs for adults, youths and senior citizens. The library is located in Valparaiso, Ind.
